Introducing HANA's new S-series pickups

HANA has added the second generation of pickups to its popular range, designed by master craftsman Maseo Okada.
The HANA S MK2 pickups are made from premium materials, use higher specification components and inherit technologies such as those used in the Hana Umami Blue model. The new pickups have a brand new tapered aluminium bracket for improved rigidity and reduced weight. Components critical to the sound have been cryogenically treated.
The modified, non-resonant body is modelled on the HANA M series, with resin-based elastomer for damping and threaded fittings for easy mounting. According to the brand, the new models can be used with a wider range of pickups.
The generator features an Alnico magnet and a high-purity 30-micron copper wire coil. The lower moving mass provides, among other things, higher resolution and better tracking. The new pickups will go on sale at the end of September, with an expected unit price of €699.
